Welcome to Les Bouchiers. Set in the tranquil Charente countryside, you can either spend your days relaxing or get out and about and visit brocantes, château’s and incredible restaurants. There’s also plenty for the kids to do. We currently offer a beautiful three bedroom gîte that sleeps 6, but watch this space as our 8 person gîte will be ready for this summer!

Your Journey, Your Home
Set in the beautiful Charente countryside, our beautiful gite, La Boulangerie, is open and ready to welcome visitors. Part of a 13th century Estate, the property is filled with history.
This gîte was originally the bakery for the big Manoir next door. It has two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. We believe everyone should have plenty of space, so, there’s no cramming in of beds. There is a large open plan living area with large windows, kitchen and sitting room area. There’s high ceilings and wooden beams galore!
On the land we have horses, goats and chickens, as well as our two friendly cats. We are set between two villages and there are plenty of great places to visit nearby. The gite is spacious and delightfully cool in the summer.

Whether you just want to cool off, or have some fun, we have a beautiful shared pool area. There’s shade, a bbq and a great wooden pool.
